When the DMA analysis is run, the labels associated with the rows in the results list are temporary. The current DMA labels may not be preserved between subsequent runs (if DMA Status changes are made). To assign a DMA name to elements that will persist when the model is saved, you can use the Zone property, or create a User Data Extension (UDX) for that purpose. In this way names such as "South DMA" can be used instead of "DMA-17" which may change from run to run.

To use the Zone property for this purpose, be sure to first create Zones with the desired DMA names using "Component > Zones".

To batch assign a name to the pipes in a DMA (using the Zone, or a User Data Extensions field), open a FlexTable on those elements, and Global Edit to set the desired value. Click "Select in Drawing" to select the Pipes (or Nodes) in the Drawing. Open the appropriate pipe (or junction) FlexTable with "Open on Selection". Right click the column Zone (or the UDX field) and Globally assign the desired value.
